Dr. Hanieh Rahimi (also known to her patients as Dr. Hani) obtained her Bachelor’s degree from McMaster University’s renowned Health Sciences Program, where she graduated as a gold medalist. She then went on to obtain a Masters degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Western Ontario, with a focus on public health research and evidence-based clinical practice.
Dr. Rahimi received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. She completed a postdoctoral program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) in Florida, where she worked as part of a multidisciplinary team in public health clinics in Miami Beach and Orlando, providing oral care to a diverse group of patients with special and complex dental needs.
Since completing the AEGD program, Dr. Rahimi has been working in private practice in Toronto. She has taken part in extensive continuing dental education courses, including Treatment Planning and Functional Occlusion at the prestigious KOIS Institute in Seattle, the direct restorative cosmetic treatment at the NASH institute in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the certification course for Moderate Sedation and Invisalign® orthodontics treatment in Toronto.
Dr. Rahimi is a proud member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Rahimi has a great passion for the practice of dentistry and healthy living. Her academic training, combined with her caring and warm personality, enable her to provide comprehensive yet comfortable care to each patient at each visit. She approaches her work with great energy, and takes great care to give all of her patients the best oral healthcare, and the most beautiful smile!
